1. O! Wing Plus, St. Louis
With 9 different sauces with names like “Beast Mode” and “Hot Mama,” O! Wing Plus was named Best Chicken Wings in St. Louis by the Riverfront Times in 2013. They also serve fried fish and Korean-style sandwiches.

2. Hackett Hot Wings, Joplin
With a Memphis-style atmosphere, Hackett Hot Wings specializes in southern hot wings as well as other southern recipes. They offer 13 different flavors, based on recipes mastered in the owner’s native Memphis. The highly successful restaurant goes through two thousand pounds of wings a week!

3. The Shaved Duck, St. Louis
A St. Louis favorite located in the Tower Grove Neighborhood, The Shaved Duck serves amazing barbecue and other Southern specialties. Their wings are slow smoked and served with mango, ginger & habanero barbecue sauce. Wash it down with one of their local craft beer selections.

4. The Peanut, Kansas City
Wing lovers travel from all over to get The Peanut’s delicious chicken wings. Cooked to order, their jumbo-sized wings are peppered, deep fried, and dipped in sauce. The restaurant also holds the longest consecutive liquor license in Kansas City. It dates all the way back to 1933 and the end of Prohibition.

5. Dog Days Bar & Grill, Osage Beach
Formerly known as the Salty Dog, this sixteen-year old seasonal lakefront restaurant in Osage Beach serves dry rubbed, smoked and deep fried wings with a variety of sauces. The restaurant has a large deck, boat access, a great drink selection, delicious pub fare and live music.

6. Corner Bistro, St. Louis
Corner Bistro is a dine-in and carry out restaurant serving a wide variety of fresh homemade menu selections. Their wings are seasoned with a special mix of spices, deep-fried and tossed in a tangy Buffalo sauce. You can choose from mild or spicy, and all wings are served with a side of ranch dressing and a generous portion of French fries. Other menu items include bruschetta, pizza, calzones, pasta options, burgers and Nutella crepes.

D. Rowe’s boasts “Good Food. Big Food. Real Food.” With generous portions, this laid back bar and grill offers a great selection of delicious food. Their Buffalo Wings are fried and tossed in spicy buffalo sauce, and are served with ranch or bleu cheese dressing. The Smoked Wings are dusted with seasoning and hickory smoked.

8. Coyote’s Adobe Café & Bar, Springfield
CJ’s has been a favorite for Mizzou sports fans for two decades, known for their fresh, delicious wings. They get fresh, not frozen, meat in forty-pound cases four times a week. You can choose from 5 CJ’s Signature Sauces that range from Butter (mild) to B.Y.F.O (burn your face off).

10. Q39, Kansas City
Kansas City barbecue favorite Q39 is a cool spot with beamed ceilings & exposed brick with an innovative, open kitchen. Their wings are smoked wings with a chipotle bbq sauce, and are listed on the menu as the “Best Wings on the Planet,” priced at just $10.

11. Culpeppers, St. Louis Area
Culpeppers has been in business since 1935 on the corner of Euclid and Maryland. They have since grown to eight locations in the St. Louis area, largely because of their lip-smacking wings. Customers can choose from original, tangy gold, sweet and sour or smoky-sweet chipotle barbeque wings.

12. Wings A Blazin’, Hermann
Wings A Blazin’ is a relaxed aviation-themed restaurant with hot wings and other finger foods, craft beers and outdoor seating. They are known for their 25 cent “chicken lip” night. Chicken Lips are boneless chicken wings, and theirs are not breaded, but go straight into fryers and tossed in a selection of sauces like honey BBQ, honey mustard, Jamaican jerk, garlic parmesan and teriyaki.

13. TJ’s Wings, Valley Park
TJ Wings Pub & Grill opened its doors in 1997 serving burgers, pizza & spicy wings in a sports bar with a game room, outdoor patio and live music. Known for their wings, you can choose from a variety of flavors like hot, Cajun, honey mustard, BBQ, teriyaki, lemon pepper, and hot & honey.
