Q39 has been named a 2026 “Small Biz to Watch” because of the restaurant’s growth and expansion, leadership, and commitment to both quality and the community. Q39 was founded in 2014 by Rob Magee but shortly after his passing in 2021, his wife Kelly Magee took over and had continued to scale and grow the business making sure to stay true to the restaurant’s roots and the brand’s vision. What started as a company of 35 people, Q39 now employs an estimated 350 people with plans to expand to 500 employees with the opening of their new location in Lee’s Summit.
